Wheeland Beach (North End), Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands
Blog Post -Â June 20, 2024
Wheeland Beach is a beautiful remote beach located up on the northwest side of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Google Maps shows this as the turnoff. We found that there is an easier road farther north with better snorkeling.
This entrance is wide and is a straight shot to the north end of the beach.
The dirt road starts out wide. I would still recommend having 4 wheel drive as it gets sandy toward the end of the road.
We were driving a Jeep, but we didn't have the tools to air down our tires, so we parked and walked the last little bit to the beach.
As we got out onto the beach we couldn't believe how beautiful this beach was. It had a mixture of soft sand, a rocky shore, and crystal clear water.
We got into the water to swim and snorkel.
After snorkeling, we got out of the water and explored the beach.
Overall, we had a great time at the north end of Wheeland Beach. We would definitely go back.
