Waikīkī Beach, Oahu
Blog Post - Nov 14, 2024
Waikiki Beach is located on the south side of Oahu, Hawaii in the heart of Honolulu.
This beach has turquoise water that is a great place for beginner surfers.
This beach is lined with hotels, so it is a very popular beach and draws a lot of people.
This is where it is located on Oahu.

Waikiki Beach is is surrounded by hotels and shopping so there isn't a lot of street parking available. You can park at a hotel or one of the local parking garages.

We had heard that this is a great beach to learn how to surf. As we walked onto the beach we saw lots of surf board rentals available.

This is a long stretch of beach and we are going to show you what it looked like.

Overall, we had a great time exploring this beach. We would love to come back and take a surfing lesson here.

PRICING:
Waikiki Beach is free to visit, but you will need to pay for parking. You can use the metered parking on the street, Hotel Garage Parking, or Public Garage Parking. The metered parking on the street is farther away, but was only $0.50 for up to 4 hours. We paid the $2 for parking and it was worth it.
Total Cost: $2 for parking
