Starfish Beach, North Stocking Island, Exumas, Bahamas
Blog Post - June 12, 2023
Starfish Beach is located on the north end of Stocking Island in the Exumas, Bahamas.
You can't drive there from Great Exuma, so we rented a boat fromĀ Minn's Watersports to get there.
We explored the beach on the very north end first and then went to Starfish Beach.
This beach did not disappoint as we saw lots of starfish.
To get our boat, we went to George Town at Elizabeth Harbor to Minn's Water Sports. You can see what it looks like below
After checking in, we went down to the boat slips to get in our boat and head out. From Elizabeth Harbor you go through a small tunnel to get out to the ocean.
Once we got out of the harbor we headed northeast toward the north end of Stocking Island first. Then we went to Starfish Beach.
This is what the north end of Stocking Island looks like.
After exploring this beach, we got back in our boat and headed south to Starfish Beach.
Starfish Beach had some covered areas and a swing. It also had a lot of starfish in the water.
Overall, we loved the north end of Stocking Island and going to Starfish Beach. We would highly recommend renting a boat so you can see these amazing beaches.
