On our trip to Middle Caicos in the Turks and Caicos Islands, we stayed at the Solstice Villa at Dragon Cay Resort.

This is our review of this beautiful beach house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

 The Dragon Cay Resort is located on the north side of Middle Caicos.

The Solstice Villa is the larger 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house and has a cottage on each side. Those cottages are separate, but if you had a larger group it makes it convenient to all stay in the same area of the resort.

As you're driving up, you'll make a left hand turn onto a dirt road. You'll see signs for Dragon Cay Resort.

You'll drive past an empty guard shack and you'll see a sign point in to go straight.

You'll know you're going the right direction when you leave the dirt road and go onto the paved road heading uphill.

Toward the top of the hill, you'll make your first left onto a gravel driveway. You can pull right up to the house and park.

One of the great parts about staying at Dragon Cay Resort is that you have access to the Dragon Cay Beach/Mudjin Harbor, Secret Beach, and the Mudjin Bar & Grill Restaurant.

As you walk into the Solstice Villa, you'll see a breakfast nook area and the kitchen on the left. The kitchen had a stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, blender, toaster, and everything we needed to cook and eat there.

The foyer area had 2 chairs and lots of beach towels.

From the foyer it leads you to the living room that has a comfortable couch that opens to a bed, has a tv, a wall unit air conditioner, and beautiful views.

The dining room has a long table and plenty of chairs to eat together. From the dining room, you can walk outside and down the stairs to the cement patio.

The cement patio is where we would go to rinse off the sand from the beach using the hose. It also has some chairs, a couch, and a table to sit outside and relax.

Toward the front of the house by the front door is the master bedroom and bathroom. This room had a really comfortable bed, a sitting area, and a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.

Next, we are going to go up the stairs to the 2nd floor. The 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. 

The 1st bedroom is open and you have to walk through to get to the bathroom and the other bedroom.

Both bedrooms have wall unit air conditioners. 

The bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower.

The 3rd bedroom has its own door for privacy and amazing views.

So you can see that this is a beautiful house at an amazing location.

Overall, we had an amazing time staying here. It was great for exploring North and Middle Caicos and coming home to what seemed like our own private beach.

We would definitely stay here again. We loved it.

These are the things that you should know about the property:

• You can put your garbage out on the front deck each morning and the staff will come and pick it up.
• They had plenty of towels for showering and taking to the beach.
• They had a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and a dishwasher.
• We had a tv and internet access.
