Snorkeling Excursion in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

While we were visiting Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and decided we wanted to go snorkeling and view the famous Land's End Arch.

We booked our excursion through Cabo Adventures.

Cabo Adventures picked us up from our hotel and took us to their headquarters in Cabo San Lucas.

We went inside and got checked in for our excursion.

From there we got onto a small speed boat and headed out.

We arrived at the snorkeling area and jumped in. We were required to wear our life jackets in the water. They allowed us to put them around our waists. This was the first time I went snorkeling with a life jacket. It was literally a drag!

We explored the coral reef and the beautiful fish.

After we finished snorkeling, we got a sea scooter and went exploring. Our life jackets added a lot of drag, so the sea scooters were really slow.

After we finished on the sea scooters, we went over to the small boat and got a kayak. We then explored the area on our kayak.

When it was time to head back, we got back into our boat. We were able to see some whales on our way back.

We also saw someone parasailing on the way back.

Then we saw the famous rock formations that are so iconic to Cabo San Lucas.

Then we saw Land's End Arch.

There were so many beautiful beaches and rock formations!

We finished our excursion and went back to the Cabo Adventures headquarters where they had lunch waiting for us. 

We had some time before our shuttle bus was going to take us back to our hotel, so we walked along the boardwalk and found some cool surf boards and some shopping.

We finished our shopping and headed back to Cabo Adventures to catch our shuttle bus back to our hotel.

Overall, this was an amazing excursion. The only thing that I didn't like was wearing a life vest for snorkeling and the sea scooters. The rest was great.

The price was $89 per person for the Cabo Snorkel and Land's End Arch Adventure.

Note: At the time, Cabo Adventures was running a special. If we booked 2 excursions with them, we would get the third one for free. We ended up getting this as our 3rd excursion so it was free. We only paid the $2 tip.

These are the things that I recommend you bring:

• Cash for shopping and a tip for the bus driver.
• Swimwear
• Your own Mask and snorkel (they will provide them, but I always prefer to have my own)
• Your own fins/flippers (They will provide them, but I like a perfect fit so I always bring my own)
• Biodegradable/Eco-friendly Sunscreen
• Go Pro Hero 8 Black video camera
• Go Pro 3-Way Grip to hold the camera out in front of you.
