Snorkeling the Frederiksted Pier in St. Croix
Blog Post - April 10, 2021
Snorkeling or Scuba Diving at the Frederiksted Pier is a must when visiting St. Croix.
We chose to go snorkeling and absolutely loved it. We brought our own gear so we parked nearby and walked to the pier and started snorkeling.
We saw squids, turtles, spotted eagle rays, and all sorts of fish. This was so fun and we would definitely do it again!
Here is a view of the Frederiksted Pier:
This was my first time seeing a spotted eagle ray while snorkeling. I was so excited and kept following it around.
This was also my first time seeing little squids swimming together.
I also saw a few sea turtles. Here is one that was swimming by me.
We saw all sorts of fish too!
This is the view looking back to the shore at the Frederiksted Pier.
Overall, this was one of our favorite places to snorkel in St. Croix.
Note: I would recommend a housing for your GoPro as you can dive really deep at this site. I actually broke one of my GoPro cameras here as the water leaked in.
