Secret Beach, Middle Caicos, Turks and Caicos Islands
Blog Post -ย June 13, 2024
Secret Beach has a hidden staircase from the cliffs that goes down into a cave and comes out onto a beautiful beach with soft sand and turquoise water.
It's located on the north side of Middle Caicos in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
In order to get to Secret Beach, you'll go to the Dragon Cay Resort.
As you drive in, you'll see that they have two different parking lots.
There is a larger parking lot and a smaller parking lot. If it's available, you'll want to park at the smaller parking lot by the Mudjin Bar & Grill Restaurant.
There are two different trails you can take to get to the staircase to Secret Beach. You can take the longer trail that goes by the Solstice House. This trail is easier and more gradual.
The second trail is right by the restaurant and is a steep trail that goes up and then levels off.

This is what the staircase that goes down into the cave and out onto the beach looks like.
You'll know that you're going the right way as the trail dead ends at the staircase.
The day that we went was dry, so we had no problems going down the stairs. If it had rained, this would be more dangerous.

As you leave the cave and walk out onto the beach, you'll see this turquoise water. The sand was really soft too.

The shoreline to get in was rocky, but we found an area to get in and go snorkeling. We saw some little fish.
After snorkeling, we got out and soaked up the sun on this beautiful beach.
Overall, we loved this beach. We would highly recommend it on your next trip to Middle Caicos in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
