Blog Post - February 9, 2019

While we were visiting Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and decided we wanted to go snorkeling at the 2nd largest sea lion colony in the world.

We booked our excursion through Cabo Adventures.

Cabo Adventures picked us up from our hotel and took us to their headquarters in Cabo San Lucas. From there we got into one of their vans with our excursion group and traveled to La Paz, Mexico.

It's takes about 2 hours to get to La Paz.

We arrived at the Club Hotel Cantamar which has a marina. It's located just north of La Paz.

We boarded our luxury catamaran and headed out to the 2nd largest sea lion colony in the world.

On our way out, we spotted a lot of whales. It was so amazing to watch them.

We finally arrived at the sea lion colony and got onto smaller boats to get closer to the colony.

We jumped into the water and started snorkeling. We saw some scuba divers at the bottom with the sea lions.

We were amazed at the energy and how close the sea lions would swim near us.

We found a cave that we got to snorkel through too.

Then we saw a rock area where the sea lions were hanging out.

We finished snorkeling and got back onto the small boat and headed back to our catamaran.

Cabo Adventures then served us a delicious lunch. We were so hungry and this hit the spot.

It's so fun going on these adventures with Julie. She is up for any adventure!

We then headed to a small alcove where we got to go swimming and snorkeling. The water was amazing!
