Sandy Beach Park, Oahu
Blog Post - Nov 9, 2024
Sandy Beach Park is a must visit on your next trip to Oahu.
It has a beautiful beach, turquoise water, lifeguards on duty, plenty of public parking, and public bathrooms.
This beach is located on the southeast side of Oahu. You can see where it's located on the map below.

When you pull in, there is a road that goes all along the beach and it has multiple parking lots and access to public bathrooms.

We parked in the first parking lot and then walked out to the beach and started exploring.
This is what it looked like.

I didn't notice this until after I flew my drone, but there were 3 people snorkeling a reef in the middle of the beach. Next time we go, we are going to try and snorkel there if the water is calmer. Because of the waves, the visibility wasn't great on the day that we went.

Overall, we had a great time at Sandy Beach Park. This beach is so long that you can actually make a day of it exploring the different parts of this beach. We will definitely be going back here.
