Queens Beach, Oahu
Blog Post - Nov 14, 2024
Queens Beach is located on the south side of Oahu, Hawaii next to Honolulu.
This beautiful beach has soft sand, palm trees, and crystal clear water with a great coral reef to snorkel.
There is metered parking and public bathrooms.
This is where it is located on Oahu.

The only parking we found was paid metered parking on Kalakaua Avenue. It was only $0.50 per hour for up to 4 hours. We paid the $2 for 4 hours using our credit card.

After parking and paying the meter, we walked crossed the road and walked to the beach. There is a large green space here, beautiful palm trees lining the beach, and a great coral reef for snorkeling.

There was also a lifeguard stand with a lifeguard on duty.

We walked in on the south side of the beach. There were public bathrooms and a restaurant called the Barefoot Beach Cafe.

As we walked out onto the beach we noticed a long rock jetty or pier that you can walk out on. This is the area that was supposed to have great snorkeling.

Before getting into the water we explored the beach first.

After exploring the beach, we laid out our towels and got into the water on the southern end and started snorkeling.

After snorkeling, we dried off by laying out in the sun. These views were amazing.

Overall, we had an amazing time at Queens Beach and would definitely go again.
