Pumpkin Cove and MHL Point, North Caicos,Ā Turks and Caicos Islands
Blog Post -Ā June 12, 2024
Pumpkin Cove and MHL Point are located on the north end of North Caicos in the Turks and Caicos Islands.Ā
We parked on the side of the road and took the trail. The trail leads to both MHL Point and Pumpkin Cove.
As we were walking the trail, the paved part veered off to the right. That will take you to the cliffs. We kept walking straight till be got to a big clearing that had a fork in the road.
The trail to the right goes to MHL Point. We decided to explore that beach first.
After swimming and snorkeling at MHL Point, we decided to continue on the trail to Pumpkin Cove.
As we walked out onto Pumpkin Cove, we saw that the sand was really soft and the water was shallow and crystal clear. Pumpkin Cove has a crescent shape and has the most amazing turquoise water.
We decided to get in the water to cool off and do some swimming and snorkeling. We didn't see very many fish, but it was still a fun place to swim and explore.
Overall, we had a great time exploring both MHL Point and Pumpkin Cove. It was so awesome to have two beaches so close to each other, which are so beautiful. We would highly recommend visiting both on your next trip to North Caicos.
