Po'olenalena Beach and Chang's Beach are connected. To get there, you park at the Po'olenalena Beach Park. This is a free parking lot.
As you enter the beach, you will see Chang's Beach on the left or southern end of the beach. As you walk to the southern end, you will see a bunch of lava rocks. This is where Chang's Beach starts. Po'olenalena Beach is split into 2 sections. You have the main section that you access from the parking lot and it also has a trail to the right or to the north that takes you around some rocks and to the other side of the beach.
Both of these beaches are beautiful. We found that at the very north end of Po'olenalena Beach is a clothing optional area. I didn't film that area for privacy.
The Po'olenalena Beach Park is open from 7am to 7pm:

This is another view of Chang's Beach. I love the reflection of the water on the sand! This view is looking towards Po'olenalena Beach.

These rocks have a trail to the north side of Po'olenalena Beach. Make sure you have some flip flops or shoes as it is has a lot of sharp rocks. I went barefoot the first time and it was painful.

Overall we loved both Po'olenalena Beach and Chang's Beach. These two beaches had some of the softest sand we experienced in Maui. We would highly recommend visiting on your next trip to Maui.
