We decided to go over to Isla Mujeres from Cancun. There are two options to get over to Isla Mujeres. You can take the big ferry or you can charter a smaller boat. We chose to charter a smaller boat for the experience.
The water was amazing as we crossed over to the island. We specifically went to Playa Norte, which is on the north side of Isla Mujeres. We hung out at the beach and explored the north end of the island. We went later in the afternoon, so we met back up with our charter boat and headed back to Cancun. The next time we go to Cancun, we are definitely going back to Isla Mujeres to explore more of the island.
This is the port where we booked our boat ride from:
Then we headed out on our little boat. The views were amazing.
This is the view as we pulled up to the north end of Isla Mujeres.
Once we got off the boat, we explored the beach.
Overall, we had an amazing time at Playa Norte on Isla Mujeres. We can't wait to go back and explore more of this beautiful island!
