Playa Lagun, Curacao

Playa Lagun is located on the northwest side of Curacao and has amazing snorkeling.

This beach is nestled between two cliffside communities and also has a cliffside restaurant. It also  free parking.

We saw turtles, sea snakes, a puffer fish, and all sorts of other fish.

When you pull up to Playa Lagun, you'll see they have a large unpaved parking lot. The parking is free. We found a space and then walked over to the beach.

As you walk up to the beach, you'll see the Playa Lagun sign.

Once you pass the sign, you'll see that you can rent a beach chair if you want. We just layed out our towels, so we didn't have to pay anything.

As you get close to the water, you'll see a staircase that goes up to the Bahia Beach Bar and Restaurant. We ate there after snorkeling and it was delicious.

We walked to the other side of the beach and layed out our towels and then got in the water to do some snorkeling.

Once we got in the water, we saw all sorts of fish, sea turtles, sea snakes, and a puffer fish

What an incredible day at Playa Lagun! This beach was amazing and we would highly recommend visiting there on your next trip to Curacao.

Note: If you want a beach chair and umbrella, you will have to pay to rent them. We just layed out our towels and didn't have to pay anything.

These are the checklist items I recommend:

• Bring a hat to keep the sun off of your face.
• Bring sunscreen
• Bring your own snorkeling gear
• Bring some cash if you want to to rent a beach chair (sunlounger) and parasol.
