Playa Chiki (Also known as Playa Chiki Hundu), Curacao
Blog Post - November 12, 2022
Playa Chiki is also known as Playa Chiki Hundu.
This small little beach is only accessible by dirt roads.
There is a $6 US dollar fee to access these roads.
We drove a 4-wheel drive vehicle and would recommend that to access this beach.
This remote beach is great for swimming and snorkeling on a calm day.
In order to get there, you turn off onto a dirt road that leads to a gate.

There's a sign that shows the hours they are open and how much it costs.
They are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 6pm.
The entrance price is $10 Gilders or $6 US Dollars.

From there, we followed the dirt road to a forest area. It looks like a tunnel through the forest.

As we came out of the forest, you come to a residential property with a concrete wall and an entrance to drive in. You drive up to the top and that's where you will pay to get in.

After we paid the $6 US dollars, we turned right and headed past the house. Then the road veers to the left and goes uphill. You can see on the map where we are headed.

After heading down the dirt road, we hit our first right at Manzalina sign. The sign has an arrow pointing the correct way to go.

After following the dirt road, you'll come to the next right hand turn. You'll see a sign that says Hundu and points the correct way.

This road takes you all the way to the beach. The beach was a mixture of sand and rocks and coral.

These are some aerial views of the beach.

This was such a fun drive to the beach. We do recommend that you have 4-wheel drive to do this drive if it's wet out. We loved this beach and had a fun time there.
