Plantation Hale Suites, Unit A-11 at Waipouli Beach, Kapa'a, Kauai - Hawaii

On our trip to Kauai, we rented a condo at the Plantation Hale Suites in Kapa'a. 

This is located on the east side of Kauai and is centrally located to visit the north side and south side of the island.

Plantation Hale Suites has its own Website, but we rented through VRBO.com.

This condo unit is on the 2nd floor and faces the shopping center across the street.

The condo has a wall a/c unit that cooled off the unit great. The complex also has a pool and hot tub.

In order to access Waipouli beach, you have to cross the street and take the access trail.

When you pull into the parking lot, there is an outside check-in area:

Directly across the street is a shopping area with a small market for food.

As we entered the building, we went to the 2nd floor to Unit A-11.

This is the view of the bathroom that has 1 sink, a toilet, and a shower.

This is what the bedroom looks like. It has a wall unit A/C that also ports into the living room so the whole unit stays cool.

The hall closet has 2 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a boogie board, and a cooler. This was really nice to have each day!

This is the view of the balcony. There are 2 doors to access the balcony. One  from the bedroom and one from the living room.

The Plantation Hale Suites Condos has 3 pools. This is the view of the closest pool to us along with a hot tub.

To get to the beach, you have to cross the street and walk a trail. This is what it looks like:

As we were walking down the beach, we saw this huge dead tree. We took a picture in front of it so you can see how big it really is.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Kauai at the Plantation Hale Suites and would highly recommend it.

Unit A-11

We rented this unit through VRBO.com from Nov. 8, 2021 to Nov. 17, 2021 at $169 per night plus fees.

We also purchased trip protection at $152.98.

The Total came to: $2,440.59

These are the checklist items I recommend:

• When grocery shopping, we recommend going to Safeway over Walmart. They had a much better selection.
• We used the beach towels provided by our condo unit
• Bring a hat to keep the sun off of your face.
• Bring sunscreen
• We used the beach chairs provided by our condo unit
• Bring your snorkel gear and fins
