Pelican Beach, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands
Blog Post - June 18, 2024
Pelican Beach is a small little beach located up on the northeast side of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
This beautiful beach was great to lay out, swim, and snorkel around the rock jetty.
There is free parking on the side of the street and a short trail to get to the beach.
We parked and walked over to the beach to start exploring.
As we walked out onto the beach there is a large rock jetty, a small stretch of really soft sand, and crystal clear water. The turquoise water really makes this a beautiful beach.
After exploring the beach we decided to get in the water to do some snorkeling.
We entered on the left side of the rock jetty as it blocked the current and the water was clearer on that side.
This is what it looked like when we first got in.
We found that the best side of the jetty for snorkeling was the far side facing the ocean. The water was clearer there were more fish
After snorkeling we started to get out of the water. This is the view of this beautiful beach from the water.
Overall, we loved this beach and would highly recommend it.
