Northern BiminiĀ Beach onĀ North Bimini in The Bahamas
Blog Post -Ā July 18, 2024
Northern Bimini Beach is a public beach located on the northern end of North Bimini next to Virgin Voyages Beach Club at Bimini (Also known as Resorts World Bimini Beach).
There was no name of this beach on Google Maps, but because it is located just north of the Resorts World Bimini Beach, I call it Northern Bimini Beach.
Here's a map showing the location on the northern end of North Bimini.
We had plans to go to multiple beaches, so we decided to rent a golf cart.
When we got off of our cruise ship, we walked 0.5 miles to Sue & Joy's Golf Cart Rentals.
You have the choice of taking the free tram or walking.Ā
We decided to walk to see the beautiful views from the bridge.
As we were leaving the port, there are signs along the sidewalk pointing you in the right direction.
As you're leaving the cruise port, to the right you'll see the arch and across the street you will see Kayak Beach. Go ahead and cross the street and follow the sidewalk to the left over to Sue & Joy's Golf Cart Rental.
As you get to the roundabout, you'll see all of the golf carts and a blue building titledĀ "Sue & Joy's". This is where we rented our golf cart for the day.
We got the mid tier golf cart for $140 for the day. We drove the 1.2 miles downĀ up to Northern BiminiĀ Beach.
In the Bahamas, you drive on the left side of the road. These are some of the views along the way.
We drove past the Hilton Hotel on the way there.
It was so cool to see the golf cart parking and that this is a common way to get around on this island.
We passed the free tram on our way there.
You'll go through an entrance area that takes you to the Virgin Voyages Beach Club at Bimini. (Also known as Resorts World Bimini Beach)
You'll drive past the resort to get to this beach.
You'll go around a curve in the road and you'll come to a round about. You'll go around it and then you'll drive off the road to the beach parking area on the very north end of the beach.
We parked our golf cart and locked it up.
Then we explored the beach and got in the water to swim and snorkel.
The water is crystal clear, but we didn't see too many fish here.
There is a place at this beach called Pablo's Bimini Tropical Experience that you can pay to rent beach chairs, umbrellas, jet ski rides, and tropical drinks. We didn't use them, but we had heard good things about their services. If you're interested in any of those, you'll want to bring some cash with you.
This is what this beach looks like:
Overall, we had a great time at this beach. It wasn't crowded and we enjoyed swimming and laying out. We would definitely go back to this beach.
