The North and Middle Caicos Causeway, Turks and Caicos Islands

The North and Middle Caicos Causeway is located on the southeast side of North Caicos and goes 1 mile across Bottle Creek Lagoon to Middle Caicos.
This causeway was built in 2007.
Before the bridge was built you had to take a boat, but now you can drive over to Middle Caicos.
The Causeway was damaged from a Hurricane in 2008 and was fixed in 2014.

This was a beautiful drive and we were so grateful to be able to drive over to Middle Caicos.

These are the checklist items I recommend:
- Have a full tank of gas.
- Rent a vehicle to get around and to cross the causeway. We rented a Jeep as we wanted to go to some of the more remote beaches on Middle Caicos.
