Marina Fiesta Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Blog Post - February 7 - 10, 2019
On our trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico we stayed at the Marina Fiesta Resort.
This beautiful Resort backs up to the boardwalk, which has lots of restaurants and shopping. It also has beach access at the end of the boardwalk.
As you pull up to the Resort, they have a beautiful sign in the front.
We flew into Los Cabos International Airport. At this airport you get off on the tarmac and go into the airport terminal.
We took a taxi from the airport to the Marina Fiesta Resort. This area of Mexico has some mountains and is a desert.
The front lobby area is open air and there is a big whale in the driveway area. The entrance is gated for your security.
During the checkin process, we had the choice to get the all inclusive pass or just pay for our meals on our own. The restaurants included in this pass are on the boardwalk directly behind the hotel. We chose to pay for our own meals as we were going to be gone a lot on excursions, which included meals already. Then we walked by the pool and headed up to our room.
We stayed in room 318 on the 3rd floor, which has a view of the pool and marina. This is a Grand Luxe Suite.

They also have a nice workout room.

As we walked along the boardwalk to the beach, it was common to see sea lions in the water.
At the very end of the boardwalk you have access to the beach. Here is a view.
One of our favorite restaurants to eat at on the boardwalk was WTF Burgers. The food was sooo good!
We had the choice of paying in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars. When I first saw the bill, I thought it was $907 US Dollars, but was relieved when I saw the price at the bottom in US Dollars!
We also liked getting ice cream at the Haagen-Dazs shop on the boardwalk.
On night we left the boardwalk area and ate at Casa Amigos. The food was amazing!
We noticed that when we left the boardwalk area, the food was cheaper for the same type of meal.
Walking around we found a lot of fun things to take pics with:
Overall, we had an amazing time staying at the Marina Fiesta Resort and would highly recommend it. The staff was so nice and made us feel at home.
