Makena Cove Beach is a beautiful little beach located on the south side of Maui. It has two small coves and really soft sand.
Parking is free and is on the street next to a stone wall. Once parked, you walk down to the entrance and walk through. You have to climb down some rocks to get to the beach. Once you get there, this is a great beach to hang out and watch the waves crash against the rocks.
This beach is also known as wedding beach or secret beach. It's a popular spot to take wedding pictures, so it's best to go in the morning to beat the rush since it's a small beach.
