Lower Antelope Canyon, Arizona
Blog Post - September 12, 2019
On our trip to Page, Arizona we booked a tour of Lower Antelope Canyon.
I had heard that this tour was amazing and it had been on my bucket list for a while.
We booked our tour throughĀ AntelopeLowerCanyon.com
We arrived at the Lower Antelope Canyon Tours facility and parked in their parking lot.
They had a Native American Indian dancing when we got there.
Once we got checked in, we were assigned to a group and a guide.
We walked over to the entrance of Lower Antelope Canyon.
They have built a staircase to make it easy to get down into the slot canyon.
The inside of Lower Antelope Canyon is made of beautiful sandstone. The views were amazing!
Look at the pic below. I didn't notice this head with a face until after I was looking at all my pics.
Do you see the face?
As you can see below, they have ladders to make it easier to get through the different sections of the slot canyon.
Here are some more views of Lower Antelope Canyon as we walked through:
Some of the areas were pretty tight to get through.
And then it would open up into a big cavern area.
The colors were amazing!
Just when you think you've seen the best view, you see another.
Our guide helped us take some creative photos.
At the end of the Lower Antelope Canyon, they have sets of ladders to get out.
This is what it looks like coming out of Lower Antelope Canyon.
After we were done with the tour, our guide showed us how this slot canyon was made.
Overall, we loved this tour of Lower Antelope Canyon. We would highly recommend this tour!
