Long Bay Beach (South), Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands
Blog Post - June 19, 2024
Long Bay Beach is a beautiful beach located on the southeast side of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
This beach is 3 miles long, so we explored the southern end of the beach first and we're glad we did.
The entrance that we went to on Google Maps is called Long Bay Beach Access #5. There are multiple places you can access Long Bay Beach, but this is the one we chose.
As we pulled up we found that there is free parking on both sides of the street in the dirt area.
You can see the trail entrance is right next to a residential property.
You can see from this aerial view that this is a pretty long trail.
This is what the trail looks like.
As we came out from the trail, we were blown away with how turquoise the water was and how soft the sand was.
This part of the beach has mostly residential properties. The cabanas and beach chairs are all private, so you need to bring your own towel, beach chair, and umbrella.
We brought our own towels and were able to hang out on this beautiful beach.
This is the view looking north.
We decided to walk the beach heading north first. As we turned around this are the views heading south.
When we got back to our towels, we grabbed our snorkel gear and got into the crystal clear water to do some snorkeling.
We didn't see a lot of fish, but it was still fun to snorkel in this clear water.
After snorkeling we got out and explored toward the south end of the beach
Overall, we loved our time at this beach and would definitely come back again.
