Long Bay Beach (North), Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands
Blog Post - June 19, 2024
Long Bay Beach is a beautiful beach located on the southeast side of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands. We explored the north end of this 3-mile long beach.
On Google Maps the north end is called Long Bay Beach Access #1.
You can check out our other post at the south end at Access #5.
As we pulled up, we found that there was free parking on the side of the street.
We parked and walked over to the beach.
As we were walking up to the beach we saw this welcome sign. It broke down the right of way rules for kite surfing.
As we walked out onto the beach we saw a little stand and picnic area were you could buy a drink. Right next to that you could rent a jet ski or sign up for a kite surfing lesson.
We found a place in the sand, set down our towels, and started exploring this beautiful beach.
We brought our snorkel gear, but we didn't know it would be too shallow to snorkel.
So instead, we walked out into the water and enjoyed these amazing views.
Overall, we loved this beach. It was so fun to watch the kite surfers. Next time we want to sign up for a lesson to learn how to kite surf. We just left, but we can't wait to go back to this beach.
