Little Cottonwood Creek Trail, Utah
Blog Post - October 10, 2020
We headed up to Little Cottonwood Canyon to hike the Little Cottonwood Creek Trail.
Google Maps shows the name of the trail as "Little Cottonwood Creek Trail", but the trail signs just say "Little Cottonwood Trail".
The parking lot was small, but we found a spot and headed out. We took the trail heading west, which is downhill. We hiked to the end of the trail, which ends at Powerplant Lane. Then we turned around and headed back up the trail back to the parking lot.
This trail is about 5.4 miles round trip. Make sure to bring water, snacks, and good hiking shoes.
This is the parking lot area for the trailhead.
This is the trailhead for the Little Cottonwood Creek Trail.
As we headed down the trail, these are some photos of the beautiful views:
At the end of the trail you will see this gate. This is where you turn around and start heading back.
This was such a fun hike and we can't wait to do it again!
