The best snorkeling at Lawa'i Beach on the south side of Kauai, Hawaii
Blog Post - November 9, 2021
Lawa'i Beach is a small beach located on the south side of Kauai that has great snorkeling.
This beach has free street side parking and a public bathroom.
As you enter the beach, the far right side of the beach is the best place to enter for snorkeling.
There were still a lot of rocks in the water, so it's best to lay down in the water as soon as you can and swim out instead of walking out.
We saw turtles, eels, and all sorts of fish.
This beach also has really soft sand and was a great place to hang out and relax.
You can see the free parking on the side of the street along with the public bathroom.
These are the views of Lawa'i Beach from the street.
These are the views as you walk onto the beach.
The right side of the beach is where everyone would get in and out of the water.
These are some of the turtles, eels, and fish that we saw snorkeling.
Overall, we loved this beach and the amazing snorkeling. We would highly recommend visiting this beach on your next trip to Kauai.
