Larson's Beach is also Larsen's Beach depending on which side of the beach you're on. You take the dirt road that is Larson Beach Road and hike down a trail to Larson's Beach. If you walk down to the end and go over a rocky area, it takes you to Larsen's Beach. Either way, this beach is beautiful.
To get there you have to drive on a dirt road, so if it has been raining, you'll probably want a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We drove a Jeep, but because it was dry when we went any car could have accessed this road.
We turned off of Koolau Road onto Larson Beach Road. (The dirt road)
We followed Larson Beach Road until it comes to a dead end. This is where you can park and acess the trailhead.
Once you're on the trail, you'll come to where the trail forks into 3 trails.
The trail on the left is the easiest trail, but longer. The trail in the middle goes right down to the beach, but is steep. The trail to the right is a dead end trail, but has a beautiful overlook.
We took the center trail down so we could walk the entire beach and come back on the left trail.
We made it down onto the beach and loved these beautiful views!
As we were exploring, we saw this crab crawling on some rocks.
As we got toward the end of the beach, we noticed that it was clothing optional, so I turned off my GoPro for their privacy. The clouds cleared out and the sun made the water look even more amazing. We did go swimming, but the currents were really strong so we didn't go out very far.
Toward the end of the beach, you'll see a wood bench. This is where you can take the trail back to the parking area instead of walking back on the beach.
Overall, we loved this beach and would definitely go back. We loved how secluded it was. It felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves.
