Kona Mansions - Building A, Unit #301, Kailua Kona, Hawaii
VRBO rental on the Big Island of Hawaii
Blog Post - Nov 8 - 18, 2023
For our trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, we rented a VRBO condo at the Kona Mansions in Kailua Kona.
We rented Unit #301 in Building A.
The address is 75-5873 Walua Rd, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
This is a corner unit facing the ocean on the third floor.
This studio unit has a bedroom area, 1 bathroom, washer/dryer, living room, dining room, and kitchen.
This is the view from the street:
As you get close to the building you will see the letter A and the different units in the building
You walk to the back and go up the stairs.
As you walk in the door has a keypad so you put in the provided code and you don't need to carry a key around with you.
As you walk in you'll see a very open concept. There's the living room/TV area, a dining room area, and the kitchen.
To the left you have the bedroom and bathroom.
In the bathroom there is a washer and dryer, sink, toilet, and shower.
We loved having the washer and dryer. It was so convenient to dry wet clothes or throw in a load of laundry.
Here's the view of the living room and dining room from the bedroom area.
This is the view of the kitchen. It has a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, sink, oven and stove.
From the kitchen you'll see a sign on the wall pointing towards the ocean. This is what the view looks like:
You can see that this isn't a balcony, but more of an overlook area.
This is another view looking from the dining area.
We also had access to a swimming pool and BBQ/Picnic area at the back of the condo complex.

Overall, we loved our stay at the Kona Mansions Condos. It was a small unit, but had everything we needed and was centrally located. We would highly recommend this condo as long as you are good with climbing three flights of stairs.
