Kleine Knip Beach, Curacao
(Also known as Playa Kenepa Chiki)
Blog Post - November 14, 2022
Kleine Knip Beach is located on the northwest side of Curacao and has amazing snorkeling.
This beach is also known as Playa Kenepa Chiki.
When we arrived there was free parking in an unpaved parking lot.
The water was crystal clear and the beach was a mixture of coral and soft sand.
You can see the unpaved parking lot in the photo below:
You can see here that the road in is paved, but the parking lot is unpaved. The good part is that the parking is free.
As we walked up to the beach, there is a sign showing that this beach also goes by the name Playa Kenepa Chiki. On Google Maps it is called Klein Knip.
As we walked up to the beach, you can see that they have beach chairs and umbrellas.
We opted to just lay out our towels so we didn't have to pay anything.
We then walked the short beach and went snorkeling. This beach is a mixture of coral and soft sand.
These aerial views show the beautiful backdrop and turquoise blue water that is crystal clear.
You can see where the best snorkeling is around the rocks on the north side of the beach.
It was so cool to see this octopus latch onto the rock and change its color to blend in.
After snorkeling, we got out and enjoyed laying out on this beautiful beach.
Overall, we loved this beach and would definitely go back.
