Keawa'ula Beach, Oahu
Blog Post - Nov 8, 2024
Keawa'ula Beach is the most northern beach on the west side of Oahu, Hawaii.
This beautiful beach has great snorkeling on calm days and super soft sand.
The parking is free and they also have public bathrooms and showers.
Due to it being remote, there is a high crime rate so don't leave anything in your car.
This is where the beach is located.

When we got to the beach entrance there is a yellow gate. This gate was open, but if it is closed you can park on the side of the street and walk in. On the right hand side is a gated entrance to Space Force. We went straight and parked in the free parking lot at Keawa'ula Beach.

After parking we got out of our car and saw that they have free public bathrooms and showers.

If you drive to the very north end of the beach, there is a dirt parking area for the people who are going to hike the Ka'ena Point Trail (West Access). We didn't do this hike, but saw a lot of people heading there to do it.

This is what the beach looks like on the northern end of Keawa'ula Beach.

We walked and explored this long beach. The water was calm on the day that we went so we got in on the southern end of the beach and did some snorkeling.

After snorkeling we got out of the water and explored the beach some more.

Overall, we had a great time snorkeling and exploring this remote beach. We would definitely go back again.
