KalokoĀ Beach, Oahu
Blog Post - Nov 9, 2024
Kaloko Beach is located on the southeast side of Oahu.
This beach has a long trail system to explore this beach.
This beach is lined with rocks so there aren't many areas to get in the water, but it is great for long walks and watching the waves crash against the rocks.
There is one area that is open to get in the water and thatā€™s where most of the surfers where getting into the water.
You can see where it's located on the map below.

The entrance to Kaloko Beach is paved, but it quickly turns into a large dirt parking lot. This parking lot is free, but it is very bumpy so make sure you take your time. If it's been raining, don't go in unless you have 4-wheel drive.

Most of the beach has a rocky shoreline. There are lots of trails to explore this beach and and the west side of the beach is an area that you can get into the water.

Overall, we had a great time exploring and watching the waves crash against the rocks. We would love to come back in the summer time when the water is calm to see what the snorkeling is like here. We did enjoy how few people were at this beach.
