Kalama Beach Park is located on the east side of Oahu, Hawaii.

This beautiful beach has a small public parking lot, public bathrooms, lifeguards, a long stretch of sand, and amazing turquoise water.

This is a long beach that is great for long walks or just laying out.

This is where it's located on the map.

As we pulled up to Kalama Beach Park we went to the free public parking lot. You need to get there early as this parking lot fills up fast.

If there is no parking you can find a spot to park in the residential neighborhood and then walk over.

As we walked the trail from the parking lot to the beach we saw that there are free public bathrooms too.

As we walked the last part of the trail to the beach, you can see the amazing turquoise water.

As we walked out onto the beach there is a lifeguard stand and plenty of room to spread out.

We found a place to lay out our towels and then we explored this beautiful beach, went swimming, and laid out.

We didn't go snorkeling as the waves were too big and the visibility was low.

We'd love to come back in the summer time when the water is calm to snorkel.
