Kaimana Beach, Oahu
Blog Post - Nov 14, 2024
Kaimana Beach is located on the south side of Oahu, Hawaii.
This small beach has soft sand, palm trees, and crystal clear water with a great coral reef to snorkel.
There is free parking right next to the beach or metered parking close by.
They also have showers that you can use to rinse off after swimming or snorkeling.
This is where it is located on Oahu.

There is free parking along the street right by the beach.

If all the free parking is taken, you can pay to park on Kalakaua Avenue. They have metered parking.

We were able to find a space to park in the free parking area.

As we started walking to the beach we noticed that there are parking spaces at the War Memorial Natatorium. If you go over and look at this old pool, it is from World War 1.

We took the sidewalk to the beach. This beach has a row of beautiful palm trees and has a lifeguard stand (2H) with a lifeguard on duty.

The water is crystal clear and you can see that on the left is a channel that you can swim and to the right is a beautiful coral reef that you can snorkel.
We put down our towels and got in the water to start snorkeling. This is what we saw.

After snorkeling, we got out and laid out on the beach. It felt so good to relax and listen to the waves softly crashing against the shore.

Overall, we had a great time snorkeling and laying out at Kaimana Beach. We would definitely go again.
