Kahana Bay Beach Park

Kahana Bay Beach Park is located on the northeast side of Oahu, Hawaii.

This beautiful beach is a great place to learn how to surf with its smaller waves.

There is free parking, showers to rinse off, and lots of trees for shade.

This is where it's located on the map.

As you pull up, there is one parking lot that is located on the beach side. If that parking lot is full, there is another parking lot on the other side of the street.

After parking, we got out and started exploring this beautiful beach. The water here is brown, but with the majestic mountains in the background, the views were breathtaking.

This large bay shelters the water from the huge waves that you see on the North Shore. That's why this is a great beach to learn how to surf as the waves are much smaller.

Overall, we had a great time at Kahana Bay Beach Park. Next time we will bring our own surf boards to go surfing here.
