Indian Cave, Middle Caicos, Turks and Caicos Islands
Blog Post -ย June 14, 2024
The Indian Cave is a beautiful cave with circular holes in the ceiling that let light in.
This was originally occupied by the Lucayans.
They have found their pottery and other artifacts here.
This cave is free to visit, but you definitely want to bring mosquito spray so you can enjoy the cave.
The Indian Cave is located on the north end of Middle Caicos in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
To get there, you'll drive past Dragon Cay Resort and then on the left hand side of the road you will see a dirt semi-circle road and a sign for Indian Cave.
There's a paved trail that takes you right to the cave. Along the way is a sign that describes more about the cave and its ancient inhabitants, the Lucayans.
Make sure you put on your mosquito spray before you take the trail to avoid getting lots of mosquito bites.
This is what the entrance to the Indian Cave looks like:
As we walked into the cave it opens up with both big holes and small holes in the ceiling that lets light in.
It didn't take us very long to explore the Indian Cave, but we were glad we stopped by to see this cool cave.
