Horse StableĀ Beach, North Caicos,Ā Turks and Caicos Islands
Blog Post -Ā June 13, 2024
Horse Stable Beach is located on the north end of North Caicos in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
This beach has a pier with shallow water and lots of little fish that swim around the pier.
We parked right next to a community center and playground and walked directly out onto the beach.
You'll see this entrance with a welcome sign and a small building. There was no one there and we drove in.
As we drove in, it was a mixture of a dirt road and a paved road.
Straight ahead was the community center. We drove to the left of the community center and parked there. This area was a sandy road.
After we parked, we walked out and explored the pier. This is what the pier looked like along with the views from the pier.
The water around the pier was really shallow. You can see Tyson standing and the water is about waste deep. There were a lot of little fish swimming all around the pier.
After exploring the pier and snorkeling around the pier we got out of the water and explored the beach. This is a really long beach both ways and is great for long walks.
Overall, we loved this beach. There was one other family that showed up to catch some fish with a net. Besides that, we had the beach all to ourselves for most of the time. We would definitely go back.

These are the checklist items I recommend:

- Bring reef-safe sunscreen.
- The parking area is sandy, so I would recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle just to be safe.
