Hooper's Bay Beach, Great Exuma, Bahamas
Blog Post - June 10, 2023
Hooper's Bay Beach is located north of George Town and a great beach to swim with turtles.
The turtles hang out around the piers.
There is free street side parking at the Hooper's Bay Beach access area.
The yellow circle on the map below is where the beach access is located.
After parking on the side of the street, you'll see two beach access signs. You'll follow the trail down to the beach.
As you come out onto the beach, you'll need to walk south all the way to the piers. You can see where the yellow circle is on the map below.
Once you get past the first boat pier, you'll start to see the turtles.
We had such a good time swimming with turtles, barracudas, stingrays, and in crystal clear water.
We loved our time at Hooper's Bay Beach and would highly recommend going on your next trip to Great Exuma.
