The Dragon's Teeth is also known as Makaluapuna Point.
This is an old lava flow that formed its rocks in the shape of dragon's teeth.
The Dragon's Teeth Access Trail takes you out to the Makaluapuna Point, which also has the Kapalua Labyrinth and Dragon's Point.
This is an amazing area to hike and explore.
The hike is about 0.4 miles from the parking lot all the way to the end of the point.
This is what the parking lot looks like:
This is what the trail looks like. You hike along a beautiful golf course.
As you reach the lava flow area, you can start to see the dragon's teeth rocks on the edge.
Off in the distance you can see D.T. Fleming Beach.
In the middle of this rocky point, there is the Kapalua Labyrinth. This is a rock maze.
As we explored further down, there were a lot of areas were the waves would crash against the rocks.
These are the views at the very end of the dragon's point.
Overall, this was such a fun hike. Definitely wear water shoes or shoes that you don't mind getting wet. We highly recommend going to Dragon's Teeth to see this wonder of nature.
