Cedar Point, Middle Caicos, Turks and Caicos Islands
Blog Post - June 14, 2024
Cedar Point has the most amazing sandbars and beaches.
It's the most remote beach on Middle Caicos in the Turks and Caicos Islands with 7 miles of dirt roads to get there.
There's a half mile hike at the end to get there, but it is totally worth it.
When you turn off of the main road, you'll see a sign that says "Welcome to Middle Caicos" and has an arrow pointing toward Wild Cow Run.
You'll make a left and follow this dirt road.
When you get to the roundabout, you'll turn right and then you'll have 4.2 miles of dirt roads to get to Cedar Point.
This dirt road gets narrower.
This is what it looks like.
About a half a mile before you get to Cedar Point, you'll reach this parking area.
We parked here as there was really deep sand on the next part of the road.
We were driving a Jeep, but didn't want to chance getting stuck as we didn't have anything to air down our tires and then to pump them up after.
We parked and headed out on the 1/2 mile hike to Cedar Point.
We made it to the end of the road. There's a trail that you take from the road to the water.
As we came over the small ridge, we could see the most amazing turquoise water.
The water was really shallow so we could walk across the sandbar to the other island.
The views at Cedar Point are amazing!
We decided to explore around the point and found a beautiful beach.
Overall, we had an amazing time at Cedar Point. We would definitely do this one again!
