Cas Abao Beach, Curacao
Blog Post - November 15, 2022
Cas Abou Beach is a beautiful beach located on the northwest side of Curacao.
You have to pay to get in, but it's definitely worth it.
You'll go through a guard gate, follow a winding dirt road to an unpaved parking lot.
It has great snorkeling and soft sand.
This is what the guard gate looks like:
At the guard gate, you'll pay to get in. It costs $6 dollars Monday through Saturday. It costs $7 on Sunday and Holidays. You can also rent a beach chair for $3 dollars.
From the guard gate you will take the dirt road to the unpaved parking lot.
After we parked, we put the receipt in the dash of our car and headed in.
This is what the entrance to Cas Abao Beach looks like:
As you walk in you can see the bathrooms, showers and lockers.
We decided to explore the beach and then go snorkeling at both ends of the beach.
This is the south end of the beach looking north. It has a mixture of sand and coral. The middle of the beach was mostly soft sand and at the ends of the beach it had more of a mix of coral in the sand.
We decided to go snorkeling on the north end of the beach first.
Then we headed over to the south side of the beach to do some snorkeling there.
After snorkeling, we got out and enjoyed this beautiful beach.
Overall, we loved this beach and would highly recommend it on your next trip to Curacao.
