Bambarra Beach, Middle Caicos, Turks and Caicos Islands
Blog Post -Ā June 14, 2024
Bambarra Beach is a beautiful beach with soft sand, crystal clear shallow water, and some seagrass that's great for snorkeling.
It's located in Middle Caicos in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
From the main road, you'll make a left hand turn onto this dirt road.
You'll follow this dirt road to the end.
As you turn, you'll know you're going the right way as you see the sign for Bambarra Beach.
At the end of the road, you'll make a left hand turn into the large parking lot. The parking is free.
As you look out from Bambarra Beach, you'll see a small island called Pelican Cay.Ā
The water is really shallow and it looks like it would be easy to walk to it, but it is about a half of a mile to get there. The water gets up to about your waste so it's not an easy walk.
This is what it looked like as we got out and started to explore this beach.
After exploring the beach and walking in the water, we got out and got our snorkeling gear.
We headed over to the left side of the beach where it is darker in the water.
It's darker because it has seagrass.
That's where we went snorkeling and we saw lots of fish there.
After snorkeling, we got out and hung out on the beach and in the shallow water.
Overall, we had a great time at Bambarra Beach. We would highly recommend this beach on your next trip to Middle Caicos in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
