We were excited to go to Anini Beach as we heard it had really good snorkeling.
As we pulled up we found that there was plenty of free parking and a nice grassy area for picnics. They also had public bathrooms.
As we walked out to the beach, we could see that a coral reef was out in the distance that acted as a barrier were the waves would crash, but it left the bay relatively calm.
We decided to do some snorkeling and saw a sea turtle and some fish. The day we went the visibility wasn't great, but we still had a great time.
As we explored up the beach, we found an area that was designated for camping. We thought that would be a cool experience to camp right on the beach. Maybe next time.
This is what the parking area looked like:
You can see the public bathrooms, pavilions with picnic tables and a large grassy area.
As we walked out onto the beach, you can see how calm the water is.
We decided to snorkel out to the buoy. We got to see a sea turtle and some fish. The visibility wasn't great, but it was still fun!
After we finished snorkeling, we decided to explore the rest of the beach.
We found a part of the beach that was designated for camping.
At the very end of the beach there were some private residences and we saw a family go kayaking.
Overall, we loved this beach and can't wait to go back.
