The Ahihi-Kina'u Natural Area Reserve is located at the end of Makena Road on the south end of Maui, Hawaii.

This is a protected area so there are lots of turtles and lots of different marine life.

The parking lot is now paved and has a $5 parking fee that you pay via credit card at the parking meter. Once you've paid, you put your receipt on the dash of your car.

Make sure to bring your own snorkel gear and some snacks for after snorkeling. Here are some pics from our day there.
